OBITUARY - THE AFRICAN INSURANCE ORGANISATION IS BEREAVED AGAIN: THE CURRENT PRESIDENT OF THE AIO IS NO MORE
Another moment of grief surrounds the African Insurance Industry. The President of African Insurance Organization, AIO, Mr. Pa Alhassan Jagne, is dead. He died on Thursday, July 08, 2010 in Banjul, The Gambia.
Mr. Pa Alhassan took over the Presidency of the AIO barely one month ago at the end of the 37th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the African Insurance Organisation which took place in Banjul, The Gambia.
He was very well known in the African Insurance Organisation where he played very prominent roles, having served as Executive Committee member between 2008 and 2009.
Pa Alhassan Jagne was the Executive Vice President of Prime Insurance Company Ltd. Banjul. He was a gentle and cheerful person and was well liked and respected by his associates. Pa Alhassan Jagne will be sadly missed.
